Challenges

The project faced significant challenges, particularly in managing the responsiveness of the platform. By utilizing a flexible grid layout, we ensured that the content displayed seamlessly across various devices. The complexity and volume of historical data required careful curation and organization. Developing a taxonomy that was both engaging for users and useful for Eni as a strategic communication tool was essential. This involved distilling extensive information into key themes and narratives that effectively conveyed Eni’s evolution while maintaining user interest.

Approach

  1. Preliminary Research

Conducted in-depth interviews with Eni’s team to gather insights into their specific needs and communication objectives. This phase ensured a clear understanding of the key messages that needed to be conveyed, aligning the project with Eni's vision.

  2. Design Exploration

Developed and evaluated multiple visualization concepts to identify the most effective presentation styles for the historical content. This involved focusing on user engagement and narrative flow to create an immersive experience.

  3. Content Curation

Oversaw the content filling and curation of multimedia elements, ensuring high-quality visuals and narratives aligned with Eni’s brand identity. This process included meticulous editing and organization to create a cohesive storytelling experience throughout the platform.
