Challenges

The challenge lay in creating a platform that would engage younger generations. While UNICEF has a strong international presence, the goal was to appeal to younger audiences who are increasingly interested in sustainable fashion, vintage items, and the broader concept of doing good through their purchases. The design needed to balance UNICEF’s well-established brand with a fresh, youthful approach to attract this new demographic.

Our aim was to develop a dynamic and visually appealing e-commerce marketplace where people can purchase high-quality goods while supporting charitable causes. The platform needed to merge the guidelines of Unicef and the vision of luxury, sustainability, and philanthropy, offering an intuitive shopping experience.

Approach

  1. Preliminary Phase
During the preliminary phase, we collaborated closely with ADNOC stakeholders to deeply understand their existing information system and user needs. Through workshops and brainstorming sessions, we identified key pain points and established a clear hierarchy of data that aligned with operational priorities. This groundwork was essential for designing an intuitive user experience.

  2. Design and User Flow
In the design phase, we structured the information architecture to optimize user flows across the platform. Key pages were defined, focusing on critical processes such as real-time data tracking and operational insights. Internal user testing on wireframes was conducted to ensure the interface facilitated efficient navigation and decision-making, ultimately enhancing the overall user experience.

  3. Implementation and Testing
We developed a comprehensive design system that prioritized usability, scalability, and consistency across all screens. Continuous testing and iteration based on user feedback ensured that the final product met both functional requirements and user expectations, paving the way for improved operational efficiency within ADNOC.
